Two funerals, 3 events and a masquerade harvest dinner, and several costume changes later, well, OMG I am exhausted and in bed at 9:47 p.m. on All Hallow’s Eve. LOL!!! Both of the funeral/memorial services at times were overwhelming but made me focus and contemplate grief on several different levels.
But life must go on and I’m grateful I get to help celebrate that simple fact on pretty much a weekly basis. The masquerade harvest dinner at Proof was off the charts fabulous and I’ve never heard the restaurant more festive and filled with laughter. Even the staff said they had an incredibly fabulous time. Our host and hostess took it to the next level, SERIOUSLY.
And now in preparation for the holidays, I will just try to pack in as much as I can every day and be thankful for the time I get to spend with the people that I love. Getting to do the things that I love. I may be exhausted but I am extremely grateful for the life I lead.
